Located just outside of historic downtown Mt Sterling, Mt. Sterling Health and Rehab is a 144 bed skilled nursing facility with an inviting, home-like environment. We serve the needs of our residents through multiple levels of care including skilled nursing, respite, palliative, and hospice care. Rehabilitation Therapy
Our Rehabilitation Center offers comprehensive services that promote returning home. These services are provided by licensed physical, speech and occupational therapists.

Physical Therapy
Helps residents regain strength and mobility, using therapeutic exercise and the application of modalities, intended to restore and facilitate normal function.
Speech Therapy
Helps with speech language, cognition, memory, and swallowing deficits.
Occupational Therapy
Helps in regaining as much independence as possible with range of motion exercises, massage and/or use of modalities to decrease pain and swelling as well as splinting to support your injury. A fully functional kitchen in our state-of-the-art therapy room to retrain lost skills in a home-like environment.
Respite Care
Respite Care is a short-term care program designed to give family members a much needed break from the demands of caring for the chronically or terminally ill loved one at home. Whether for a weekend or a few weeks, in Respite Care, we provide the patient with a warm and secure social environment and staff to meet their specific needs.
